○ Blood clot issues (e.g. thrombophlebitis, embolus, thrombus, phlebitis)
○ Fever or contagious illness
○ Hernia with infection or swelling (edema)
○ Aneurysm or other vascular conditions
○ Pregnancy (first and second trimester)
○ High blood pressure
○ Kidney disease, renal disorders, or dialysis
○ Recent surgery or recent injury
○ Severe back or neck pain
○ Disc herniation or spinal conditions
○ Severe osteoporosis
○ Diabetes
○ Neurological conditions (e.g. stroke, epilepsy, MS)
○ Skin infections, open wounds, or rashes

Your safety is always our top priority. I want every client to receive care that is both safe and appropriate for their individual needs. Depending on your health condition or circumstances, I may recommend another qualified therapist or healthcare professional who is better suited to support you. This is simply to make sure you receive the safest and most appropriate care possible.
